Parental Pathways – Children’s Literature, Building Resilience

Little Island is delighted to be taking part in this one day conference around children’s mental health and reading. Our authors Kevin Stevens and Patricia Forde will be speaking, as well as our publisher Siobhán Parkinson.

This unique one day conference, organised by Parental Pathways and Children’s Books Ireland, brings together Authors, Animators and Psychotherapists to explore the transformative impact of metaphor in building children’s resilience. The conference has been planned and designed for parents, grandparents, teachers, librarians, therapists, writers, illustrators, animators, social workers and other healthcare professionals.
