We’re very proud to see our author Deirdre Sullivan taking part in the Dublin BE Conference for Girls – a day of body-confidence, friendship and finding role models for girls aged 11-13. It takes place in Dublin on the 19th April and has other super speakers including author Sarah Webb and psychologist Joanna Fortune.
Following on from two amazingly successful BE conferences for girls (aged 11-13 years old), in 2013 and 2014, we’re delighted that BE are continuing with this super project. The idea of the conference is to create a fun-packed, empowering and inspiring event focussing again on the topics of body image, friendships and role models. BE hopes to help gitls feel great about themselves from the inside out, show them the best way to use social media and get them to realise the extent of wonderful role models they have in their world.
Each workshop is being run by women who excel in their chosen field, have a brilliant rapport with young women and have lots to offer in terms of engaging, inspiring and empowering others.
Congratulations to all those involved and best of luck to Deirdre!
